Traffic message data for road traffic is now available in DATEX II version 3.7 format. The new version brings an updated XML schema alongside the existing 3.5 and 2.2.3 endpoints.

New REST API endpoints

The following DATEX II 3.7 endpoints are now available:

• /api/traffic-message/v2/exempted-transports/datex2-3.7.xml
• /api/traffic-message/v2/roadworks/datex2-3.7.xml
• /api/traffic-message/v2/traffic-announcements/datex2-3.7.xml
• /api/traffic-message/v2/weight-restrictions/datex2-3.7.xml

New MQTT topics

Real-time traffic messages in DATEX II 3.7 XML format are also available via WebSocket/MQTT:

• traffic-message-v3/datex2-3.7/<situationType>
• traffic-message-v3/datex2-3.7/SRTI
• traffic-message-v3/datex2-3.7/RTTI

The DATEX II 3.5 endpoints remain available. The DATEX II 2.2.3 endpoints will be deprecated on 20 October 2026 as announced in the earlier notice.
